Handscroll. 24.6 x 128.7cm Sung K'o, whose style name was Chung-wen, was a native of Changchow in Kiangsu province. He gained wide fame as a master of calligraphy. A Ming critic commented that Sung's calligraphy captured the essence and genius of the ancients.
